  2. Triceratops.

Always has been. Ever since I started learning about dinosaurs before third grade.
When we had a “dinosaur play”, which was really just a bunch of us third graders standing on stage and reciting blurbs of dinosaur facts, I had a small stuffed yellow Triceratops tucked under my shirt, peeking out from my shoulder.

I’d gotten him at Toys R’ Us.
    His name was Horny.
No, at the time, third-grader me didn’t understand the look my mom gave me when I picked his name.

So you can understand the kinship I felt with Alan Grant in the Jurassic Park movie 🙂
