Every year, talented builders get involved in Bio-Cup – an online challenge that’s all about constraction parts and making amazing models with them. Blocks takes a look at the incredible creativity that comes out of this contest, as fans make those very bespoke BIONICLE elements work in new ways.

See how LEGO botanical elements have evolved over the years, from the early flat trees to the amazing range of pieces that are available to builders today. It’s quite the journey and is a great example of how element design has changed.
