productinfoGUND Peter Rabbit Plush signals a unique collaboration between two heritage brands, both loved around the world.

2016 is a special year for all Beatrix Potter fans as it is the 150th anniversary of her birth. The classic Tales have been treasured additions to nursery shelves all over the world for over 100 years. More than 250 million books have been sold and the Tales have been translated into thirty-five languages and sold in over 100 countries.

When it comes to children’s books, Beatrix Potter is arguably one of the most cherished and celebrated authors in the world, having penned – and drawn, truly captivating and spellbinding tales featuring the animals and countryside that inspired her.

With 23 titles in the official Warne, Beatrix Potter library, there are a plethora of creatures that children and adults connect with, and whilst the books themselves are fantastic, it’s always nice to have a soft toy to snuggle up to at night.

GUND & Enesco have put together a truly magical range of plushes, spotlighting some of the popular characters from Beatrix Potter‘s world. Available in different sizes with price points ranging from just £9.95 for small plushes and just £19.95 for large plushes, there is something for everyone. There are also special edition plushes for collectors, with a higher price point – complete with gift boxes and numbered certificates. Not only are the plushes extremely affordable, but the sheer quality that comes with every GUND product, coupled with the reputation they have built up over 100+ years, helps make each toy that bit more special.

You can choose from favourites such as Peter Rabbit, Flopsy Bunny, Jemima Puddle-Duck, Mrs Tiggy-Winkle, Mr Jeremy Fisher and Squirrel Nutkin (to name just a few) – with more being added to the expansive range.

The plushes are incredibly soft to the touch and young children will find them comforting to take to bed, in the car or generally around the house. For those of us *cough* older fans, the plushes serve as a fantastic memento from our childhood, whilst also serving as great collector’s pieces, too.

At the time of writing this review, we have just celebrated Easter, and, needless to say, with two young children, the ‘Peter Rabbit‘ and ‘Flopsy‘ plushes went down a storm and made a welcome addition to their (otherwise chocolate-filled) Easter baskets.

  1. These are simply adorable. My kids and I love reading the books, and I didn’t know there were official stuffed toys!

Love the site, by the way. Keep up the excellent work!
